During pandemic, I was in Leiden (The Netherlands), the birthplace of Rembrandt . I've been honored to have the possibility to work for this beautiful Hotel crafting portraits of these famous writers adding original Art to the eight luxury rooms of the building .

"We've commissioned to Edu Mercuri, an Artist with unique style and talent, a Project called "The Eight Writers" to add an amazing Art Collection to the building. As a renaissance man, he is curious and hungry for constant knowledge in art, science, history and mainly in seeking new ways to share it.  Located in Leiden’s oldest and most vibrant neighborhood .  The CTY Books hotel features original special made works of art from Edu Mercuri. Hotel guests are engulfed in a luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere from the moment they step into the lobby, which features a commentary feeling within a 400 years old building thanks to Mercuri ."
